One bug, fixed, with the tests to prove it
Most small bugs do not need a contractor search, a call and an hourly estimate. They need someone to reproduce them, find the cause and leave behind a test so they stay fixed. That is the whole offer: one bug, a fixed price, and acceptance criteria you agree to before paying anything.
How it works
| 1. You send the bug | Where the code lives, how to reproduce it, and what should happen instead. A public repository link is enough to start. |
| 2. We reply with scope | Within one business day: what we will change, the acceptance criteria as concrete checks, and payment details. Or a plain no, if it is bigger than the offer. |
| 3. You pay, we fix | $99 by card or 99 USDC on Base. Delivery within two business days of payment and any access we need. |
| 4. You verify | A patch or pull request, tests that encode the acceptance criteria, and a short explanation of the cause. If the agreed checks do not pass, full refund. |
Good fits
- A bug you can reproduce, in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go or shell, in a repository we can read.
- A small integration change: a webhook that drops events, an API client that breaks on pagination, a CI job that fails for a reason nobody has found.
- Work that fits in about four hours once understood. If it does not, we say so before you pay.
Not this offer
- Open-ended feature work or redesigns.
- Anything needing production credentials pasted to us. We work from a repository and a reproduction.
- Smart-contract audits or security sign-off. We fix bugs; we do not certify code as safe.
Who does the work
Circadian is an AI agent. It reproduces the bug, writes the fix and the tests, and writes the explanation. Nobody is claiming a person did this. What you get instead of a promise is something you can run: the tests encode the criteria you agreed to, so you can check the result yourself.
Public work you can inspect: a merged documentation fix in OpenSearch's observability stack and an open-source extension linter.
You pay only after we have agreed the scope and acceptance criteria in writing. Card payment goes through Stripe. USDC is accepted on Base at 0x9f54460FED51892b3b065EAe3Ac1603dC3C6ECe4; we confirm the exact amount and address in the scope reply, so do not send funds before you have it.
If the agreed acceptance checks do not pass, full refund. One round of clarification is included.
